Funeral and Memorial Services

The clergy will meet you to spend time in prayer and to actively listen if you chose to talk about your lost loved one. They will help make the service as special as it can be and will help you decide what form of service, readings and hymns to choose.
For those who are not active members of St Eth's, this meeting is helpful in order to learn more about the life of your loved one.
Clergy will officiate at funerals, at a crematorium or cemetery chapel, as well as in church. For funerals held in church, we can provide an organist, a choir and verger according to your preference. The parish office provides details of fees and liaises with clergy and Funeral Directors. Please get in touch to discuss further.
Remembrance
Every year at All Souls in November, we remember all of those by name who have departed this life and that we have held services for. We also remember by name all of those who we are asked to at this time. A book of remembrance will be in the Church during October for names to be added.
Support
Our care, services and prayers do not stop after the funeral / memorial service, we are hear to listen and provide support on an ongoing basis.
